Last year was a tough year for almost everyone. IMO

When the market rallies, most investors are making
money or at least up on their portfolio. I think
most investors are Bullish. How many participated
in the 'SI International Open'? There were 2 as
I recall. I remember the first one was in a down
market. Of course after the picks were made, they
couldn't be changed. Most participants were down.
The next contest was for three months and it was
in a up market. So we had a 'up' average.

I remember where some of you ended in both contests.
Just shows how tough it is.

So the WSJ is seeking out stories of posters here
on the internet, namely SI. They contacted me here
on SI via PM's. Then they called me on the phone.
Interviewed me, said they were going to check some
things and call me back next week. They did and
asked more questions. Is this the experience some
of you had?

IMO it's not always in "black and white". They 'get'
us there also. All the DD in the world doesn't mean
you will find out the truth. I bought 70,000 shares
of 504 stock a few months ago and then found out less
then 2 months later that the company had failed to
disclose a large loan that was currently in default.

So ask the tough questions, but don't expect to get
the real answers. I recall asking some tough questions
and getting attacked from longs. You know what I mean.
You have a individual that knows what's going on, won't
tell the whole story on the SI threads and "plays" the
others who invested in the same company. How many times
have we been there.

We go on, next stock, more DD, more stock discussions,
more longs verses nays. Nays being paid or otherwise.
Some nays have ligitimate grips. Investors, longs I'm
mostly talking to, shouldn't be afraid of the good and
the bad if it is real. It's a form of protection. We
want instant gradification. IMO we have been to spoiled
on the latest easy money making stock runs. I want 50%
in two days. But I sometimes have to wait a year or more.
But with the good stocks, it does come.

See ya around SI!
