It's pretty clear to me, investors DO NOT buy on the promise of licenses, they buy and sell on the actual numbers generated. I consider this very short-sighted, and one of the classic reasons they miss out on 10-baggers. People see the WCW numbers and they spasm. What they don't see, and obviously what they can't understand is the cash generating potential of the 10-year WWF license. Possibly they have never played a console game, so they can't understand that the game quality is such a part of total experience. If THQI had had the WWF license and lost it, then obtained the WCW license, I feel we would still be seeing the same reaction. Instead, people who understand the rights to license, and the quality of the program itself are the factors that ensure successful sales are the ones that benefit at times like this. What is obviously not nice in the short-term is rather a blessing in the long-term, depending on how you invest. Did the management team change? NO! Did the fundamental development teams change? NO! Did the reaction to today's news accurately reflect the long-term growth of the company? NO! Small caps are in the outhouse, the general market is reacting to interest rates and the bond market, and dummies are selling a highly proven small-cap stock with a proven business model because they DO NOT UNDERSTAND what fuels the growth this company has experienced in the past. Can't do much to stem the flow, the volume today was damn huge, but I know that I will consider this one more excellent opportunity for investors to buy into the long-term success of this company.
