hey dennis,

that looks like a good site. i've bookmarked it. now if i could just spend some time with the sites i've bookmarked!! :)

your comments about starting a "tech experiences" thread is worthy of consideration, for sure. and in a sense, that's what we have here, in that an awful lot of probs that do not get resolved on tech lines find their way onto this thread and often get answered!

i have such good feelings about this thread. more and more folks are coming and lending a hand. it's pretty kewl, imo. and people should always be encouraged to ask a question if they have one.

back to tech support... the best i've encountered is dell. they're great. i used to call aol a lot, back when i used their service more often. they were about 50/50. half good, half outrageous. their favorite thing to tell you is "your aol software has become corrupted". :) kinda' like a lot of techs seem to want to tell you to reload your windows os.

regardless of the level of competence of the person trying to help me, it is all a learning experience, and i always take something away from the moment, or the hour, or the week ;)

regards,

mark
