164,459 is nearly 10,000 more than NDC reported. This is a significant diff. They are the most comprehensive reporters including mail order prescriptions. Mail order scripts grew from 4700 to 6500. Expect to see a bigger jump in coming weeks especially from mail order scripts. They will surpass 300,000 by first week of March and will continue to grow until Vioxx is released in June 1999. It should plateau from there onwards as result of competition. If they can sustain 300,000+ scripts after Vioxx they should easily surprise the wallstreet by at least 10c every quarter.

Once the News media stops publishing Flat- earth Society comments, we should move upwards. Recent british media paranoia is similar to BRAIN TUMOR RUMORS FROM CELLPHONES back in 1995. Everyone knows what happened to cellphones. They are everywhere. Monsanto will touch everyone on the planet just like GE. IT IS A STOCK TO OWN FOR NEXT 10 YEARS, AS LONG AS THEY EXECUTE WELL IN IMPROVING PRODUCTIVITY AND IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE OF PEOPLE.

I have prescribed Celebrex to a few patients and it works really well. They patients could not take Relafen or Lodine. I am planning to prescribe much more in the future especially with the geriatric population. Could someone tell me which company is planning an injectable version. Thanks
