OK, so my 401K is a RRSP, as I guess also are my IRA's.
Well, I manage my own IRA's and I have seventeen different stocks in them right now, ranging from TSIG to XON. In my 401K, I only have mutual funds which I check only once every three months and basically never change. Anyway, sorry if I appeared to be a little harsh on you earlier. I'm much gentler than I used to be ( ask others on this thread ), I just had a temporary flashback :-)
As for TSIG, I used to try and trade it, but I gave up a few months ago. Now, personally, I'm quite happy to hold for several years unless there is some major fundamental change. I see TSIG as a long term growth opportunity, the likes of which doesn't come around very often.
However, I do restrict myself to 5% in any one stock ( except XON, but that's because my wife used to work there and won't listen to any arguments about selling any of the shares she accumulated while there ). I now like to trade stocks in the $2 to $20 range either via selling and buying back covered calls or just buying and selling the shares when no calls are available ( i.e. stocks below $5 ). Anyway, I'm sure I've told you more than you really wanted to know and I have to go to my evening class, so bye for now.

Every large group is made up of all the personalities and philosophies. The flow of the group is what is important. There will be individuals leaving and joining at all levels. As long as the continuity of the group stays in focus is what matters.

Welcome to the group
