Did you notice the statement: "Yes, a less-than-500-dollar K6-III outperforms a 3,000-dollar Xeon Pentium II equivalent, amazing isn't it?"

iNTEL must be dumping in their drawers!!!

By the way does any one know what has happened to pAUL. He used to haunt these threads almost continuously. Rumor has it that he very occupied liquidating his massive iNTEL positions and quietly (for pAUL) buying all of the AMD stock he can get without upsetting the market.

Regards,

DARBES

Cringe-A-Lot - re: "Nothing new here. K6-III is the king in business applications, PIII is king in gaming/multimedia."

Nothing new ?

NOTHING NEW ????

Those folks overclocked a K63 to 500 MHz to squeeze out one test that would show a K63 can beat a Pentium III !

The 500 MHz K63 doesn't even exist - it ain't even STEALTH announced !

What a crock !
