"one could come to the conclusion was deception, when in reality the problem is with the court system itself. How would Medinah know the case would be yanked to another court? "

R, thats just it...they knew IMO based on many factors. They do not have any control over the Chilean courts BUT exactly when did they hear from Quijano on this issue. It appears late December, and that is confirmed by Dayton's IR though not thru an offical news Business Wire release. So who is to believe?...It would also seem prudent that they would have known thru their legal counsel down in Chile that the Chilean courts would be in recess for the whole month of February..oversight I guess huh?...again this is a dead issue no since in kicking it in the ground, I have heard what I wanted to here, and it told me a LOT!, remember I was at the AGM, and Gary will tell ya, we have great notes from what was discussed in our pre AGM meeting, to what was discussed at the AGM. Paul Jones went into great detail about the placers, and its expected production. The MAY 11th news release is as follows: LAKE ELSINORE, Ca. May 11, 1998...Medinah Energy Inc. is pleased to announce the completion of the first stage of private financing with the receipt of US$500,000 from a London, England institutional investor.

The funds are to be used for the set up and completion of a plant on Medinah's Santiago, Chile, gold placer properties. In addition, the financing will allow for the completion of the Catan tunnel, therefore allowing shipment of gold ore from Medinah's properties for processing at the nearby ENAMI refinery. Both projects are being completed concurrently with gold production projected to begin in three weeks time. This process has been expedited through the efforts of Vice-President of Mining, Paul Jones, P. Geol. and his staff. These two projects will initiate substantial cash flow to Medinah Energy Inc. The Company has also completed the renegotiations of all properties in the Andacollo district, successfully converting them from option contracts to purchase contracts. "

....So please I understand the problems of financing but when we have issued what 30,000,000 million shares since the AGM ...is raising money a problem?...All I'm saying is the dominoes that I had hoped for appear at least in my mind "cold showered events" in desperate need of some Viagra....but I have been known to be wrong in my assessments of the facts. So far all I see in the next 2 - 6 weeks are some promising gold finds that the gold community will want to see further verification from "their" experts before writing a check...
