Oh yes, most know when they are doing a pump and dump...I was refering to the many unaware posters right here on SI. They think that their "innocent" posts that hype a stock so they can get a better price is OK. It isn't. Same with shorts that bash stocks, so they can manipulate the price downward and cover making more money than if they had stayed quiet.

It is all stock manipulation. . .it is all being monitored by the SEC. . .and it is all illegal.

My concern is that many in our "excitement" find ourselves pumping a stock. . .then we sell when our target price is reached, giving innocent posters the appearance of P and D. . . it is like a used car dealer pumping up a car to make the sale so he can feed his family, but the car is a lemon. . .whether or not he knows it, he is in trouble.
