xcr600, The guy said he was with "Royal Hutton"....and that they had a site on the web and were a "stones throw from Wall Street" They bought my name and number from Dun and Bradstreet....he said...for about a dime... The call lasted at least 10 minutes....as the call progressed he got very pushy and insulting...at one time asking me if I had a brain tumor....for not wanting to buy 1000 shares of PPOD from him.... right then. I tried to find "Royal Hutton" ....but came up empty. I may have used the wrong spelling or something....but nobody I have talked to since seems to know of any such firm. I think it may have been a classic boiler room deal....but I could be wrong.....I doubt any quality firm would use such tactics...however. It was very entertaining....and, in fact, directed me to the stock. Of course I shorted it instead of buying it. <g> bg
