Will: The medical doctor in question owns farms, has conducted extensive nutrition basic research for which he received a masters, and has made an concerted effort to advance his knowledge in this area. The bottom line was that he does understand far more than 99.9% of ABTX investors about the implications of the biotech agreements. I overheard the same conversation and it was clear that Mr. Evans had not a clue about the biotech implications of ABTX's agreements and didn't seem to make any effort to advance his knowledge. His only concern that the name Agribiotech includes the phrase "biotech" which he feels is not right because ABTX is not doing biotech this instant.

Willie, Willie, Willie leave it alone before it drives you insane.

The doctor happens to do a fair amount of research and is knowledgeable in the field of genetic research. He also is an investor. You would be lucky to have him check you out.

While you become or try to become a semantics authority you do little more that show that old JT would probably notice you at the next meeting. He can really spot them.

Actually, you had some pretty good plays on words.

BUT leave Willie alone - it will drain your brain.

OFF TOPIC -- how very nice of you to drop by, after an absence of 2 1/2 months, to bestow upon us your grammar and logic lesson...

...though I really am not sure what more I know now than I did before reading your posting.

Dear Mr. Williams:

Thank you for your insightful response to my recent SI post. I shall be forever humbled by the manner in which you managed to clearly disprove all of the points made by me in my post and reduce its meaning to ashes.

I certainly was wrong to have allowed the fact that the gentleman who
was talking to Evans was a medical doctor to have in any way persuaded me that he would understand scientific information better than most. I
didn't take any of the botany courses offered in law school or during my MBA studies and I just assumed that many others on this board might have skipped those courses also.

I also apologize for my seeming lack of knowledge as to the manner in which investigative reporters ply their trade. I, myself, haven't been interviewed by one since last Thursday however my family members do hold news briefings on a regular basis and I attend them and do observe technique. I'm sure that your experience in this regard is much broader and I defer to your superior knowledge of this topic also.

And what a stupido I was concerning JT's office. My God, I'm sure that all who read my post were immediately confused as to whether or not the office was open or the door. Let me clarify so as to avoid sleepless nights for all concerned- it was the door that was open, the walls of the office were all intact.

My last error was in referencing JT's dog as a puppy. This was a slip of the typewriter finger since I always think of dogs as puppies, including the 11 year old cocker spaniel which is lying here sleeping on my office floor while I respond to your diatribe.

You know as I look at that cocker, he looks a lot like CHECKERS. Maybe my phobia about investigative reporters is even more long standing than Watergate.

Keep the light on

OSO

Some people are born stupid...

And then there are those who need to practice.
