Hey folks, Only went up a few ticks today. Let's get to $15 over the next 12 months B4 we worry about $80. I agree that we will probably hit resistance once past $5 because the shorts have made a ton here. They will go back to what has worked before until it doesn't work again. I would expect some negative assessment from some not necessarily known prognosticator to paint the dreary picture once again to stoke the story for the shorts. After the battle to break above $5 will come $10 where there will now be hundreds of thousands of shares in the $$$$ IMO. Particularly if Leland is still around they will run like hell. We have all learned a lesson about assessing the capability of management in this one. After eating through this resistance then maybe the lows to mid teens. I believe this can happen in CY99 if the foriegn countries lined up come in early, the domestic partner gets announced, and VVUS can release some news on Alibra and impact on lowering costs. Gene therapy would be a bonus but probably just to far out. One thing is for sure. If Charlie O gives a moderating caution to green light this baby will pop. The things mentioned previously need to materialize for that to happen. At the time an analyst rating change happens it will have been to late if you want to be long because VVUS will have aleady worked itself into the $8 range. Analyst upgrade will squeeze to $10 to get those $8 averages some room to get out. VVUs will go back to $6 and then proof will have to be in the numbers. If Leland were to leave - well all bets are off but I would feel much better about mid to upper teens. cheers :)
