Novell Inc (NOVL) 20 7/8 +1 7/8: provider of network software reports fiscal Q1 net of $0.08 a share, in line with the First Call mean, vs yr-ago EPS of $0.04; revenue rose 13% to $286 mln; see press release.... Al, I bought Novell at 16 1/2 in December and sold today (unfortunately not at the high)as I thought we were in a bond driven swoon. I don't know how tomorrow will play out as they only met expectations (Zacks was also $.08). The company seems to have re-invented itself and I like it long term. Tomorrow, we may see a bounce, at least initially. MU has been mentioned as a put/short,but how about AMAT - clean breakddown from uptrend.
