There's no doubt about that, but it can be argued that this "strategic inflection point" would have been hit sooner or later. If not AMD, then it would have been someone else.

And even if it didn't, it's not healthy for Intel just to grow fat, full of profit, and lazy. We're not Microsoft, you know. ;-)
