David, thanks for you affirmation. If Farrel's prognostications are correct, then THQ's reported earnings for 1999 will be ~$2.10. Which means that reported earnings likely will be up only $.10 year over year. I think that will move THQ out of the growth stock and into the value stock camp. Since value stocks are currently out of favor, I don't think there's a lot of upside potential for this year. On the other hand, I don't see much downside either.

Farrel also made another somewhat strange remark on the cc. It was to the effect, I'm paraphrasing, look guys, we aren't getting rewarded for growth so I'm not going to climb out on a limb and push my growth projections for the coming year. Which suggests that the $2.10 figure is quite conservative.
