Mike, according to Donner's (DML.V) news release (see excerpt below) of 2/23/99, it appears that Falconbridge staked three property blocks southeast of the NWI strike, and Donner has bought into a JV with Falconbridge on these blocks. Can this information be reconciled with the assertion that the majors were interested mainly in properties located northwest of the NWI strike zone? "Falconbridge had completed a compilation of available geological, airborne magnetic and electromagnetic and lake sediment geochemical data for the Lac Rocher area approximately six months prior to the recently reported discovery by Nuinsco Resources Ltd. This allowed Falconbridge to identify and stake specific high priority targets immediately after Nuinsco announced their discovery hole. Of the 24 claim blocks, 3 are contiguous to the Nuinsco property border on the east and southern sides." Best Regards, Bill

NVE Rights offering. To be pegged at $0.40/unit. Offer not good in the USA. So, where do I apply to become a Canadian? They're trying to raise lots of cash and have one month to do so from existing shareholders, which is generally preferable to going outside. In the past this sort of announcement would have been posted here by Paul Gast. His conspicuous absence for some time makes me wonder if his former association with NVE is still in existence. stockhouse.com
