Actually, Abraves, Kemble looks remarkably like 'Coach' of TV fame.
Don't know/have not seen Vision Quest.

OT I am watching the movie "Vision Quest"..
That's my movie - give it back!!!

When I first started investing and was very impressionable my broker talked me into financing the movie via a limited partnership. Boy I didn't understand how limited it was. I was supposed to be reasonably safe as it was an all cash deal, we got a percentage of the profits and owned the rights to the movie ever after and could make later deals for video and TV rights. Well, it wasn't spectacular at the box office and with their accounting there were no profits, then the major partners (Lorimar & Prudential) decided the partnership needed to borrow money for an new ad campaign (after the movie has been opened they decided to promote it). It turned out they borrowed the money for the ads from themselves, spent it, and then declared bancrupcy for the partnership. I got about $500 back for it. About 10 years later after all the lawsuits I got another $2000.

So DON'T GO WATCHING MY MOVIE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!

abraves,
Hi!!!
RE: We need a good day from the techs tomorrow...

I keep thinking how many times I've seen these guys knock this industry down during this time of the year...only to tell us later in the year that things are fine...hey, we actually need this stuff... :o)

Technology is where the money is....I spoke to a committee at our church last night...they are doing some restructuring of their finances and asked me to come in....some mixed feelings amongst the group...well, they put me on the committee without my wishing this... :o) They had no technology other than IBM in their portfolio of DEWORSIFICATION... I attempted to explain to them...two former IBMer's....that the technology of today was a puddle in your back yard three years ago...today it is a pond...in two years it will be a lake....five years an ocean....Michael's comments about the market share available today being more to DELL's advantage than it was three or four years ago is an understatement...the info I have here in these "bibles" scares me...
Yeah...they bought a significant number of shares of DELL...they unanimously agreed on that... :o)

GOT MONEY...BUY DELL NOW...

Best, Kemble
