"What the hell is THIS!!!???" LOL.
Very interesting to say the least.

Like I said Sam mentioned a while back in a letter to the shareholders of the shorting going on in this stock.

From the way things look around here we may be getting ready to run and someone or somebodies is worried. JMHO.

David and comments?

David, thanks for breaking the monotony of this stupid bickering match we seem to have going on. I will re-affirm: Of what I understand of the technology, in talking with Sam Shanks at length, and after doing as much DD as I know how from technical and non-technical sources, I truly believe that the technology LGPT has developed has advantages that many companies would highly desire.

We have talked in the past, thanks to mnispel and others, about what the advantages are: Greatly increased speed and reduced silicon area are two of the key features that alone could mean hundreds of millions to a company in technological advantage and cost. With time analysts have speculated that floating-point types of applications will become more and more desirable for PC, workstation, embedded systems and the internet. This is just beginning with the Intel Pentium III and the AMD K6-III who's key marketing thrust is enhanced graphics, 3D, etc. = floating-point.

The main challenge as it always has been is marketing strategy, business plan, funding and execution. From the tone of recent news releases from the company, it appears that things may be starting to come together.

Also, I know that the leaders of this company are honest, trustworthy, highly intelligent people who are working with the share holders interests as a high priority. If the technology proves to be the breakthrough that has been discussed, and the company effectively executes it's plan, then the actions of a few crooked brokers aren't going to mean a thing.

GO LGPT!!!

To Docsox - LGPT's Technology is Credible

As a competitor to Log Point Technologies, I am compelled to come to LGPT's defense and am thus responding to Docsox' request of Feb 25 for re-affirmation of the technical details. My decade of experience in the field of Logarithmic Number Systems (LNS) plus review of LGPT's issued U.S. Patents, leads me to conclude that LGPT's technology is credible. Indeed, the issuance of U.S. Patents to LGPT is a very visible and public affirmation that LGPT's inventions passed the technical review required by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. I have no reason to doubt LGPT's technical claims.

Although LGPT's technology is sound, it should be noted that all start-ups (including mine) face many business hurdles. In the LNS industry, the big challenge is to overcome the momentum behind conventional arithmetic (fixed point and IEEE-754 floating point). It remains to be seen whether the LNS market will develop as anticipated. If it does, investors will likely do quite well.

I thank the members of this forum for investing in LNS technology and wish you the best in your investment decisions.

Regards,
