Question from the realm of "Is It Possible" ---

I want to record a level II display, obviously during trading hours, and then replay the screen later like a video with pause, fast forward and rewind, kind of a training device for back testing.

It would seem do-able technically, anyone seen anything close ?

Just thinking out loud, had to fly today and missed most of the trading day, static intraday graphs are non-immersive.

Jon, I was a broker at Merrill for ten years until leaving with medical problems in 1997, so I know the firm's strengths and weaknesses. For the most part, their analysts are, I think, excellent and their opinions can and do move the markets. I still have my serious money, stocks, bonds, some mutual funds, etc. , there. But the firms been slow to adopt coverage on the internets... very few are followed....and Jonathan Cohen stayed too skeptical too long. The new analyst (don't remember name) achieved success as an early bull on the whole industry and was astute at recognizing early on those with staying power. But you're right in saying that don't know what his CURRENT level of bullishness might be. His hiring was just announced this week.

It wouldn't surprise me to see all the big nets pull back 50% or more by the end of the year, in fact I'm expecting it.....I'm beginning to think we may be setting up for an almost total repeat of the August to October correction we had last year with interest rates and wage inflation being the catalysts. I too would want to buy AOL and YHOO, and possibly SEEK.

Regards,

Daisy
