I agree that next q's number will suffer based on the recent acquisition. Today's late afternoon run-up was based on FORE making an announcement after the closing bell. Speculation was that FORE would be acquired. Fore doing the acquiring will only hurt share price. Jeremy

I don't believe it is the Apr to Jun quarter but the Jul to Sep quarter that will be significant. FORE just announced their uplink for the Berkeley box...it will take at least 3 months for people to play with it before buying large numbers. This latest acquisition is a 2 for one deal. FORE gets a carrier class network management system and a carrier savy software house. How long the network management system takes to be integrated into the product line is unclear to me...it may be pretty well done and simply need some updates for FORE products. If the network management system is in this state then it will help influence immediate short term sales that should hit in 4 months or so with the carriers.... Very good acqusition for the subsequent 12 months. Extremely bad for this quarter.
