I sent an inquiry to CheckFree regarding the status of GTE as an e-biller and received this reply: Received Message Subject: Thank you for your inquiry. Date: Fri Feb 26 13:09:11 1999 Thank you for your inquiry. GTE has not yet notified us when they plan to offer the E-Bill feature to all customers. However, you may e-mail them at customer.response@gte.com and they will notify you when the service is available to you. If you need additional assistance, please send us an E-Mail or contact our Web Support department at (888) 212-9342, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until midnight ET. Thank you for letting us assist you! From this response, it looks like CheckFree is ready to "throw the switch" and GTE is holding it up... Sam (FWIW)
