Thank you all a lot for your supporting posts. It is good to see, that besides bashing there are humans at work who think for themselves or tend to apprechiate my views...

Two words on two stocks.

PWCC: Handle with care. I do only small positions as the (per marketguide 600k) float still scares me and the flas IPO is not before March 15th (per y-days Marketwatch report). And its a trading short per the huge swings, to bring in some cash. No insider filings till now.

Last word on UIH: I have only second thoughts short term. Presently no position. Indeed, there should be value, uncovered by UPC. So, technical analysis (showing support levels) is not really applicable here.

As ever, UIH shares the fate of UPC in parts, but the European stock markets really have a hard time with the bleak European economic outlook and a the political situation in Germany. ...

But stock markets aren't that "efficient" what we read in literature, have been taught at the Univerity..., not in the short run.
This, at least is my take from Summer and October 1998 as well as mid-January 1999. "Irrational exuberant" - both ways in a quite short timeframe.

Greetings, and thanks

C.
