In reading your comments it seems that you simply take Intel and AMD's highest yielded speeds and compare them to see how many bins behind AMD is. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

If, in fact, AMD has to jack up the voltage to inadvisable levels to achieve their speed, shouldn't that be taken into account as well? Shouldn't we be reducing AMD's voltage to Intel's level and then examining the resulting Mhz to compare their processes equally? If this is true, shouldn't their top bin be about 20% slower?
