It's probably true that some investors have let the WCW "loss" spook them, but that's no excuse for the institutional investors. They're smart enough to see the bigger picture. So, if the WCW thing is really a non issue now, why the selling? We only know of one institutional holder selling a large chunk, but I suspect that the high volume includes some others. I can't believe they are making their decision based on WCW, so what is the motivation to sell, with so much top and bottom line growth staring them in the face?!! WHAT are they analyzing?!

Frank, I'd say the difference between WWF and WCW sales so far is that WWF skews a bit older. That is, WWF sells better on the PSX side, WCW on the N64 side. WWF should make a better PC game than WCW did too. Same with Dreamcast, IMO.

Of course they may have been other factors involved in why THQ has had its most success with Revenge and Acclaim with PSX Warzone.
