Victor: Creating the illusion that the IP is their own is not limited to the likes of Gateway. I find it very commendable that Compaq states up front that IP services is provided through GTE. I would like to see Compaq offer PC buyers one free year of AOL. I do not hold shares of AOL, have no interest in using AOL as an IP myself, but _every_ first time PC buyer I know has signed-up with AOL, despite my attempts to steer then to other IPs. A CPQ:AOL offer could be dynamite for both companies. Lynn
