Actually, that is a good thing

There is a saying, "amatuers trade on the open, while pros trade on the close". I make it a point not to perform any transactions on the open, because the odds are overwhelming that my instincts are wrong (I am acting on fear). So, you are much better off sleeping through the open. Discipline is a good thing in investing and discipline is being forced on you. This is for your own good and you should learn to welcome it and live with it.

Tony:

If they extend the US market hours, will you ever get to sleep??? I guess then it won't matter whether they set the clocks back, you'll have to be up 24 hours a day anyway (assuming you still want to carry on some gainful activity locally).

Best.

Steve

p.s. I don't think clocks change until April.
