I think they really are in a bind. NOW has issued a statement saying that they supported Broaddrick, and told the WH not to smear her.

I think Joe Lockart confirmed they were not going to do that. However it is almost certain that they will have operatives working on weakening her credibility.

None of their options is attractive, including waiting. They have used most of the goodwill and credibility capital they had. At this point, I'm just curious to see what rabit they will try to pull out of their hat.

If they pull the wrong one, the consequences could be disastrous, so I think they will just wait.

I can't believe this whole fiasco has gone that far. This is so incredibly pitiful to watch.

They're using the Hillary for Senate story ad neuseum to try to crowd out the Broaddrick story and to try to keep feminists engaged. This was mentioned on a number of news discussion shows last week that the White House has been pushing this alternate news story.
