Addi, for the second time this year SJMN publishes an old misleading
semi equip story...

Chip equipment sales slump

Worldwide sales of equipment used to make semiconductors almost
halved in December from the same month in 1997, the eighth straight
month of decline, as U.S. and Japanese chip makers scaled back
capital spending, industry figures showed. Equipment sales slumped
48.5 percent to $1.412 billion in the month, the Semiconductor
Equipment Association of Japan said.

Wonder who fed it to them. Scroll to bottom.
