EL..I'm here. My comment as it has been for the last year is to replace EP. We have been riding a dead horse for far too long. I'll challenge anyone to define this company. Lynn tried to make it a monitor company yesterday. Internet company? How about a networking company? Maybe E commerce. Next week we can be an internet appliance company too. No form, no function. The only thing I can think of that differentiates Compaq from the top players in technology is its sh$tty management. Steve

Had golf @8am and was making the turn just as my QUOTETREK showed CPQ opened down 6 this morning, after saying some unrepeatable things I went on to shoot the final 9 at my lowest this year 41 ... Oh, if CPQ could only get back to 41 today ! After coming home and reading some 225 posts, I am still confused and unsure exactly why CPQ is getting murdered today ... for sure, CPQ Mgmnt should be saying something but they haven't. I guess only time will tell exactly what's going on ! Good luck (and we need it) to all Michael
