The times shown for SI postings include the abbreviation EST for Eastern Standard Time and show the time in the eastern U.S. Since there are 24 hours in a day, there are different time zones an hour apart. So, for example, this post will show a time of around 3:18 AM EST, but in a different time zone, such as here in California the time is different, in this case only 12:18 AM, hardly the "early morning hours" !! Besides, you know our motto -- "Will bash for beer" Just call me the Unabasher...
