<<Then SEG goes down again,>>

Not sure I agree (or disagree)....it'll depend on how the Q is shaping up in the HDD market....March is to tough to call, thats why I bought the April exp. which will be post earnings...my thought is worst case there'll be a pre earnings move where I'll be able to take my initial investment off the table and still have plenty left for the upside (I'm looking to sell 10 for $4 and keep 20 on FWIW)

<<since most investors still could care less that they own 22% of SNDK, 38% of DRGN, and (soon) 35% of VRTS. Nevermind that these three could all become multibillion dollar companies in their own right sometime in next 5 years. They're still speculative and ancillary to SEG's main business.>>

Agreed....BUT IMO there's a decent chance that the Dragon move will carry over to pre earnings speculation...general market conditions will dictate how that period plays out....

<<So SEG will retest the 25-26 level sometime in March, then we'll see what the spring reports and CCs brings.>>

Interesting call...can't wait to see what happens.
