I don't think long term investors are "panicing". We've been here before and we seem to always bounce. I agree that supports will be tested and thus provide buying opps.. Precisely why I'm 20% cash right now.... Still, I don't see any panic..or depression. Simply a bond market with interest rate expectations sucking money out of equities. The money will come back into equities.... JMO.

Institutions are puking tech out whether it has anything to do with PC or not it does not matter.

I beg to differ. The low volume and narrow breadth suggests that individual investors are selling and institutions are staying pat. As long as earnings are not threatened, they will stay put. And even if earnings are a problem, it will take several quarters of disappointment to get a significant institution to reduce it's stake in a Dell, MSFT, CSCO, INTC, IBM, LU, HWP, and the like blue chippers. So far earnings have been impressive for the big guys. Especially us!
