Jim:

Funny you should mention that TAB-D framework. I have my notes open to just that spot right now. I wrote under details to be worked out:

1)Chip Rates
2)Asynchronous vs. Synchronous
3)Code division pilots vs. time division pilots

The rest is a mystery to me. Irwin made comments that the direct sequence part may go towards the W-CDMA solution while Multicarrier goes more like cdma2000. I took the notes, but I'll be damned if I know what they mean. I think that there are so many details to work out there that we should come away only knowing that this is an acceptable framework for both sides. Essentially, it's further progress that makes everyone happy.

As for production in Mexico, this is an outsourcing opportunity--a first for them. Wages are $1/hour there, compared to 10-12 in SD and 3-4 in Brazil.
