I like Dells' track record and management compared to cpq and I think mutual fund managers' and small investors will be salivating to give Mike the benefit of the doubt.

Long on DELL,
You can't compare CPQ to DELL.

Merril Lynch is very smart. Lower the earnings estimate now and hope that traders forget what the original estimate was when the earnings finally come out. They must own LOTS of CPQ.
