Anyone? What does it mean, to call in a stock certificate? What would it mean to the shorts?

Ok, all of us who have been freaking out on the supposed shorters for the nosedive of the stock on Friday and Monday and that roller coasters ride, were wrong. If you all look at the release the company put out on February 19, 1999 entitled "Wordcruncher reaffirms its position in the Search Market." At the bottom of the page where the contact numbers are, you will notice that the number for Ken Bell at WCTI is 801-756-8833. This number was deactivated on Friday because WCTI moved to another, bigger location. So, when people wanted to call, they got a disconnected number. Hence, they thought the Company was fly by night and out of business. If you look at the February 22, 1999 release entitled, "WordCruncher Internet Technologies Inc. On Track with Spyhop Development Releases Additional Information for Investors." At the bottom where the contact numbers are, Ken Bell's number is changed to (801) 816-9904. This is the new number for their new location. This number works. This may be why some of the other people on the thread could not get through to the Co. when looking for Financial info! Again, the Friday Feb 19 release had the wrong number and no forwarding number was recorded. Feb 22, 1999 release has the correct company contact number as will all subsequent releases which is (801)816-9904 Hope that clears up some things. Miles:) Barb, still waiting for that PIVO!!!
