The art I first saw is in the SF Chronicle, the second on Reuters.

Wow, talk about disceptive spin. Some one aught to make the SEC rules apply to politicians.

The Baby bells can't now charge the ISP, BUT they can now DEDUCT from the amount they OWE the ISPs the cost AS IF the local call a a long distance call. (!)

But the commission ruled that it cannot be CALLED a long distance call. VICORY!

They can not charge the consumer, they can only backcharge the amount to the ISP who SUPPLIES the consumer. THAT WILL increase the cost to you.

BUT NOT TODAY!!!! :)
