Madame Ruth's Bellewethers did ok by my own stuff today anyway.
You're probably laughing saying I refuse to admit my prediction of the Close was wrong but hear me out before you finally decide.
I wasn't at my puter from midafternoon til evening; when I heard about the Nasdaq and S&P closing on a down note today on the radio my thought was uh-oh things are falling apart. Upon returning home, saw both my cores and technets were up in value with more pluses in them than the minus tide of earlier so for me it came out right again. Don't know if it's just me or if this was true for overall today - on some days the indices go down but my own gains are ok; some days the points are up but my folio goes down; though on most days the gains and losses follow along with the indices. When this opposite action happens it's as though things are gathering steam at a new range; especially as when earlier today about midmorning when the points were up then my own portfolio was noticeably at mild minus tide except for GNET, AMZN, AOL, and just a couple pennies and blue chips. Bought just a little bit of another penny internet flyer today, it's ININ for under Six Cents a share - it's in internet shopping for cigars and gold jewelry on some of the big portals and it's given some happy little spikes so maybe it'll give me one too.
Have a great weekend,
Joan
