I also own CPQ and DELL. More DELL, and I am seriously considering selling my CPQ and buying MSFT or CMGI.

Yes, from my vantage point, there was a lot of stuffing in the channel, and that's what many VAR's are selling now.

1. In reality, I do not believe CPQ is really making headway. CPQ is growing a bit, while DELL is expanding much, much faster. Also, IMHO, DELL's weakness was a direct reflection of the industry, not of DELL.

If you haven't yet, be sure to read the about 12 or so posts ago with the Motley fool bashing CPQ. I tend to agree with much of what they say.
