Protect competition You don't want FTC to protect competition, you want it to protect competitors. When AMD destroys itself by keeping prices under cost and the competition, it cannot expect FTC to protect it. If it has sold at cost and Intel undercut AMD's cost, they and FTC might have a case. With the facts as they are, the law is clear. Even a monopolist is allowed to meet competitive prices. It's the law. Look it up!
