Nice to be kept up to date with developments. Two more weeks for the PP and less dilution (which is a good thing).

Good to have some FYI News today following the Jan 21 statement of the PP likely to be in place by the end of February.

There are many companies out there that wouldn't have bothered to release anything today.

David.

Quite a scathing report by Mark Evans of the Globe and Mail on the Canadian Internet in general, as compared to the Internet BOOM in the USA--see report on BID.COM--the "bii" thread, see post #10519 --Looks like the way Canadians think of Internet stocks is in the Dark Ages compared to the USA. --Most of the Cheaper Canadian Internet stocks are up this week BIT: (ASE), CY; (ASE, MADI): (NASDAQ) -What's going on with VNE slipping practically every day of the week, what a shame for a great Internet prospect, too bad VNE are not trading in the USA where they would be looked upon in a different light, not from the old school. Even when the Canadian News Media report on the Internet it's 90% negative. (EXCEPT MARK EVANS HE SAW THE LIGHT) An Internet sample :--Take a look at EBAY up Cdn$60.00/sh. on Monday alone and up over Cdn$140.00/share on the week ending Cdn$500.00 sh. from Cdn$27.00/sh. last Oct.--Now that's flying by Internet.!!!!!!!!

Well, I guess that answers the NASDAQ listing question. Presuming that the whole PP is done, VNE will not have the minimum net assets required to get a NASDAQ listing.

The maximum amount realized by VNE from the PP assuming that all shares are taken and all warrants exercised is $3.06M. That only takes into account the maximum discount allowed by the ASE and doesn't consider any other commissions, fees or promotional costs that VNE may also pay out.

This doesn't quite offset the deficit reported in the financial statement.

SHAREHOLDERS' DEFICIENCY

DEFICIT (4,525,321)

To get a NASDAQ listing, a minimum of $3M net assets is required.
