Edamo, I think you're right about Jock being unfamiliar with this idea. I know that it was a major stumbling block for me when I was considering an investment in Dell -- how could a tech stock not spend big bucks on R&D. I was a slow learn -- it took me a month or so to figure it out. But the bottom line is that what appears to be a negative is actually a positive.

I'm sure Jock will come to the same conclusion.

Hello Everyone.

I've been away for 3 weeks and had very poor Internet access. I'm back and see DELL is down a bit. Bought some at 79 today.

We've been here before. I think the bad news for the PC sector is confined to Compaq and think DELL will blowout earnings next quarter as usual.
