To all, Who is selling their shares at this level when AXC has so much potential?? DST , Micronet , Internet Video (Tv on the Web / AENTV) From the last 10Q... "In October 1998, the Company received a memorandum of understanding for the purchase, subject to the exercise of certain customer options, of up to an estimated $18.4 million of DST double density and quadruple density storage systems for a government program on which the Company had previously submitted proposals. Separately, also in October 1998, the Company received a letter of intent relating primarily to the purchase of several of the Companys recently introduced DST 712 automated tape libraries for approximately $7.2 million for another government program. In both cases, deliveries would occur during the period 1999-2001." The 7.2 mil sale has been announced. What about the 18.4 mil sale??? Another quote from the 10Q.... "The Company continues to propose on additional domestic and foreign government programs. Additionally, the Company is experiencing an increase in proposal activity to customers in the broadcast and cable markets. We have seen a few press releases of DST in the broadcast market. The cable market is next. Video on demand is coming. DST fits the bill. Stores large amounts of data with fast retrieval. Ampex already has a white paper on there web site for VOD using DST. ampex.com Comments anyone???
