I sit here patiently with a good size slug of NEM, ABX and ASA, wondering if the MYTH of gold is true.

If gold stocks get killed on the initial sell-off, I may sell naked puts on NEM - for instance, with NEM at 13-15, sell Jan 01 15 puts.

Hate to sound like a broken record on these profunds, but, time for an Interesting Bear Fact:

If NDX declines 40% (for example, 17 losses of 3% each: .97^17=59.58%), then USPIX (double short NDX) will increase 169% ((1+.06)^17-1=1.693).
