Clear Logic unrelated to today's action. In fact, Clear Logic is a non-issue for ALTR. Don't waste your time thinking about it.

If you have ALTR (which I do), you are down 10 points in just two days because investors are scared shitless about chip stocks right now. I am bailing today and moving to XLNX. As the quarter and split approaches, it is the better buy of the two despite the huge $ price delta.

This move will lock in a loss of about $5K for me. Sucks but such is life in the stock market.

HC,

I think ALTR's "downward" trend would be more related to the perception that XLNX is now the leader in FPGA. Their Virtex product does seem to be taking market share. We'll see if ALTR can match in the future.
