Trading note for tomorrow (Friday). E*Trade (EGRP) is going be switched from the S&P Small Cap index to the S&P 400 Midcap Index after the close.

If this follows what AOL did a month ago when AOL was added to the S&P 500, look for E*Trade to dip RIGHT before the 4 PM close (as the small cap indexes sell) and rise rapidly on the last trade when S&P 400 Index funds buy it and try to get the last print (price) on the close.

IE.. wait right before the 4pm close and BUY A TON for a Monday gap open. At this point this is pure hunch on my part, but it may work.

Pop quiz, hot shot. You've got 200 people hanging on your every trade and your wearing mis-matched socks. What do you do? What do you do?

Okay. I'm bored out of my mind. I still have 70 minutes of work left. My long term portfolio just got thrown up against the wall and whacked upside the head with a baseball bat repeatedly. I'm feeling just a might freaky... *G*
