I am not a geologist or a prospector but I think it will take longer to extract the bulk samples. I hadn't been expecting news on the bulk until May at the earliest. I had been thinking June was likely. As fun as the dike sheet is, I do hope they look for a pipe. The market is more accepting of a pipe.

If anyone is interested, I found this list of reading regarding diamond exploration.

it97.de

I noticed that Nickolai Pokhilenko, is in the list.

Cheers

It will take a minimum of 10 weeks to get the sample dug and into the lab. Given the size of the sample and the logistics involved I am incline to think more like 14 weeks. This of course will depend if they release interim results or not. My own feeling is that they will have to release information as they go so as to try and diffuse the rumor mill. This puts the results in some time near the end of June. Of course if a 80 carat chunker rolls out of the plant after the first bag we will here something sooner.
With some 2000 carats per site being collected (This is twice the size of MPV's sample size) the critics will be silenced once and for all except if a large green stone appears of Gem quality. With the market price of such a stone in the tens of millions of dollars we could once again end up with the naysayers yelling "skewed results". Of course at this point the shares price would be in the mid 20's and I wouldn't be around to care much.

As for share price (This is for you Pooh Bear). Price will begin to slowly ascend past the mid three's to 3.70 (we are already seeing this). If it beats its way past 3.70 by mid March then we will settle in the low to mid 4's until rumors begin to abound about the large green "NORTHERN LIGHT" found at Pit 2.

P.S. This is for you Walt. -- I find your information invaluable to this thread but just as much money has been stolen from people via hypsters as shorters. Like my Grandfather said. You can rob more people with a briefcase than you can with a shotgun.
Personally I think it was fun to have these loonies about otherwise we would have had nothing to talk about for the past 6 weeks.

200 tonne sample results released june15/98. 30 times
sample size, from 3 different locations ( 1 not determimed
yet) with a road life maybe not normal, I think at least
july. Remember CF results were anticipated in nov and we
got them late jan. Here's hoping they get the full 6000t.
