To the thread: The dangers of prognostication. On Feb. 1, a certain individual GUARANTEED that a certain stock would double by the end of the month. It closed today 15% higher than when the prediction went out. I keep track of people's predictions trying to sort out the clued-in from the clue-less. Guess which side of the ledger this guy gets a mark on. Nobody can predict the future, though to be fair, the stock he mentioned did have a nice run before dropping back. CD
