As with bill clinton, most of us don't give a twinkle. We know that often people learn from their past and experience growth of character. Especially people who've sewn some wild oats in their youth can be powerful agents to understanding and giving charitable support to people they would lead. Many assumed bc was one such person who'd grown up with us in a wild time and had come to adulthood with some first hand experience that would make him an excellent peoples choice.

With GWB people may at least take a second look to determine if these were in fact youthful indiscretions or if he is in fact a more sophisticated character with the same tendencies to over indulgence.
