Tony & Intel Investors - AMD once again Jacks Up the Voltage in order for them to ship 450 MHz K6-2's.

The sudden "appearance" of this speed grade is not due to any technology or design breakthrough - it comes from a 10% hike in the Vcc !!!

That's AMD's terrific ENGINEERING that scAMDRia keeps yacking about !

Here's the AMD document. Note that they refer to the JACKED-UP 450 MHz K6-2 as a "2.4 volt component".
