John: Good points, but DELL is Intel's MOST LOYAL and FASTEST GROWING customer. DELL and INTEL collaborate VERY closely and have an outstanding relationship. I would contend that DELL is the preferred partner (even though they may not be the largest -- yet).

With DELL's projected PC and Server growth rates they could become INTEL's largest customer soon enough.

Yet, you are right that loyalty counts. IMHO, DELL and INTEL have a symbiotic relationship. Even though they don't have to deal with each other in a MAJOR way, they know they are better off if they are CLOSE partners. It will be interesting to see how this relationship plays out in the next few years.

Have a good weekend.
