Toby, well thought out post but let me try to clarify my thinking and answer some of your thoughts. 1) The newsletter that put out the STRONG BUY recommendation to buy shares of ETPI up to $4.50 is unknown to most of us. It appears that they have been around 10 years or more and their newsletter is well written. 2) It appears that they mostly recommend larger cap stocks and do overall STOCK MARKET analysis, and AS A WHOLE recommend being careful holding most stocks long term. Their commentary seems to address being cautious and skeptical of brokers and the market...hey, wise advice... 3) But why did they recommend ETPI, a bulletin board stoc, as their "stock of the month" when they appear to be rather conservative? I don't know and I don't know their track record with their "Stocks of the Month". SOLUTION? It would seem to me that someone should find out about their past performance. Wouldn't that answer most of our questions? 4) Most of us are thinking that $4.50 sounds rather far-fetched but remember they did not mention a time frame, that I saw, or did I miss it? 5) Either they know something we don't know (possible I suppose) about big news coming or perhaps they are "all wet". I don't think we will know until we do some digging. BOTTOM LINE: they certainly must have known that nobody would believe their target price, so I am thinking that was their "12 month" target? Since it was so well written and they obviously did their homework, though, I give it some credence, but I am not taking it too seriously until they or we can explain it further. I like ETPI regardless.
